Boston Engineering interview questions

A phone screen with HR first, then a few phone calls with a couple technical questions, then an online coding quiz, then a final call with the VP before a weeklong wait before my offer

Interviewed with the HR department. Did multiple rounds of interviews. I did 5 rounds of interviews with various team members, everything went well, until I was ghosted. The HR department asked for references and I provided it to them, that very day. They never reached out to my references. I circled back with them two weeks after the final round, they stated they were wrapping up interviews and would get back to me. Followed up again with them 2 weeks later, and no response. It is extremely unprofessional to have multiple rounds of interviews, meet various team members, drive out to the location, and spend several hours interviewing and researching for an organization to just ghost you. I hope they do better and do not do that to someone else.
