I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Boston University in June 2014
Interview
I received an employee referral for this position at the ERC/CCD and interviewed over the phone during the summer. The phone interview was more of a screening, just getting to know my personality and how I work in a team environment. I previously worked at BU in two other departments so it wasn't as formal as other interviews might be.

Question 1
Do you have previous work experience in this position?
The interview process is a multiple-stage process for hiring new employees. The stages mainly comprise job interviews held either one-on-one, with a group of candidates, or with a panel. Interviews are conducted in person, over the phone or by email, or via video conferencing tools.

Very easy and straight forward. No stress at all, it almost seems as if they want you to succeed. Interviewer very helpful as well in making it a low pressure environment
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Boston University in Oct 2022
Interview
I applied online and got an email asking to do an initial interview, which I opted to do on Zoom. About a week after the interview, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview in the office I'd be working in. Overall, it was a pretty easy process, though I felt there could have been a better explanation of what the job was, with more details and expectations.
