The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences faculty were friendly and supportive to incoming grad students. I would say that this was less of an interview on their part, since I was already accepted into the program. Once I was in the program, interviews for positions such as TA, TF, and RF were informal and based on a number of internal factors.
