Applied through indeed. Recieved a response the next day with an invitation for a same day interview. They had sent the invitation at 5:30AM, asking me to be there at noon that same day. I had been in AM meetings and did not see the invitation until about 10:30 AM. I had an out of town vendor coming in for a meeting, making it impossible to make that interview. I responded asking for an alternate time. I never receieved a response. Being new to Indeed, I thought perhaps I needed to respond in the app itself, not my email. So I responded in the app. Still NOTHING. With that, I called customer service who offered absolutely ZERO help. I then reached out to an executive, explaining the situation and that I was concerned that there was some type of technical issue. As a hiring manager, I know that when I invite someone in for an interview it means that I am interested in speaking with them. I attached my resume and cover letter and asked him to please make sure that it goes to the right person. I still to this day never got a response. The entire thing is BIZARRE! To ask for a same day interview and then not even bother to get back to someone is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Considering the way they treat candidates, I am happy that they never responded, they did me a favor.
