Bounteous x Accolite Java Developer for Client In Morgan Stanely Bangalore interview questions

First I have a call for a F2F interview in Bangalore. But due to unavailability they scheduled a telephonic session for me. The interviewer was so friendly and down to earth person. He first asked me about how hashmap works in java. They try to found out whether you have in depth knowledge in Core Java or not. Expect follow up questions what you have answered. I had faced some problems while understanding few follow-up questions, but he repeated his questions in a different perspective for my understanding. It was so generous for him. Anyway after couple of follow-up questions I gave up. Next question was about serialization. Explained in details. Then he ask me if a class contain primitive as well as user defined types what will happen after serialization? Next question was on cloning. Difference between cloning and new operator. Deep copy vs shallow copy. The interviewer was so polite that after 2-3 minutes I felt like having a discussion with my fellow colleague.
