Interview
Three phone interviews.
1: Discussion with a recruitment manager about myself
2: Discussion with a consultant, talking about applications I have built and questions about the Box API.
3: Discussion with hiring manager. More technical questions.
I have put "no offer" because I have not had my final result yet.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Box in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied through University and I heard back in approximately 3 weeks.
I was informed there would be three rounds
1) Video Interview:
Basically, you are talking to a webcam which records your responses (maybe there was someone on the other side, unsure). There are 2 main sections to this. The first section gives you short questions, then 30 seconds to think of a response. The second question was a text entry. You are given approximately 1 hour or so to write up a response.
2) Phone Interview
A typical HR screening interview
3) In-person
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Video Interview Questions
Where do you want to travel and why?
Phone Interview:
How would you describe Box to someone who doesn't know the company
What is your greatest strength?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Box (Austin, TX) in Dec 2016
Interview
There was an initial screening with HR to get a feel of whether I'd be the right fit culturally with the company. This was followed by two phone screenings from team members with questions involving my technical background/experience as well as giving me information about the specifics of the position. Then I had an in-person interview/demo at the Box office. This was then followed up with a phone interview.
