I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Braintree (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2014
Interview
First, there was a 1 hour phone interview that was a gentle probing at the knowledge I had mentioned I had on my resume.
Secondly was a rather easy programming assignment I'll explain more below.
Lastly was long, full day of interviews. To begin with, a discussion with two engineers about my familiarity with the technologies I mentioned I was familiar with in my phone interview. Then that lead into another discussion/whiteboarding session with two more engineers. After that was lunch with three more engineers. Finally, the day ended with a live pair programming session making improvements to the code I submitted for the programming challenge in a previous interview round.

Question 1
The programming assignment that was straightforward and simple. You essentially had to create a credit card service that could handle credits and debits.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Braintree (San Diego, CA) in May 2024
Interview
They do a 30 minute call and then quickly give you take home assignment that takes around 8 hours to do, however after that, they never tell you yes or no. After a week, the recruiter contacted them and they said they were too busy to look at it.

Question 1
Interview questions are vague. They just quickly ask you a take home assignment that they don't even look at. This company sucks and their interview process is toxic.
2 colloqui tecnici, con grande spazio lasciato alla presentazione del proprio bagaglio personale ed una piccola parte dedicata alla verifica delle conoscenze tecniche.
Ho dovuto implementare un algoritmo di sort ed uno di ricerca
Process is good but some time we need some more details about the company and project to understand
