      Applications Specialist Interview

      21 Aug 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Braintree in Aug 2012

      Interview

After filling out the application on their website under "open positions", I received an email the next day requesting a phone interview. Since the website application is truly just an online form with various questions and an option to attach your resume, I think they key to landing an Interview is to really let your personality and intelligence shine at this first step. I'm pretty sure they get lots and lots of applications and you really need to "stick out" here. So, the phone interview was pretty straight forward. The interviewer was super nice and made me feel relaxed as could be. We covered my experience, went over my resume a bit and was given the opportunity to ask some questions as well as describe what attracted me to the company and position. I got a call back and eventually did two interviews before being given a job offer. All I can say is that the entire interview process was laid back, super friendly and VERY thorough. The last people you meet with will be the tougher of the interviews as they should be. You will meet with somewhere near 5 to 15 people from various departments and they will really try to see if you are going to be a good fit both professionally and culturally. They give a wonderlic test (google it) on the first interview that wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. Very refreshing interview experience and the H.R. team is really quick and has awesome communication. If you are qualified and have a fun personality, be sure to just be yourself. You don't need an Armani suit for the interview, just come as you are, speak intelligently and let your resume and personality really shine. This company has really impressed me with their culture, interview process and efficiency so far. They are doing big things and even if I didn't land the job, I'd honestly be proud to have even gotten to the second interview. I was so impressed with the intelligence levels and overall vibe of every single person I met. Seriously... some really sharp people at this company.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

This question may have been specific to me and my resume but I was asked/or told that I might get bored or find the work to be "routine" in comparison to my previous work experience and how I felt about that. It almost felt like a trick question where they were trying to see how i reacted, it kinda caught me off guard.
