I applied online with a resume and cover letter and received an email to schedule interview, which I did over Zoom. I then needed to provide 5 references. Overall, it was a positive experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Brattleboro Retreat
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call an hour after applying, Before arriving to the facility the nursing manager took a strong interest in me and told me the starting salary. It was listed on the website that the unit I was viewing was newly renovated. Upon arriving to the unit I quickly realized that it was not recently renovated, but was dirty and small. There was no room for therapies or any type of program put in place for the children. The nurses station was jam packed with kids toys. The medication room was in a location that required the nurse to obtain the medications then walk onto the unit to find the client while carrying them in a med cup. Overall the nurse manager seemed very nice however it was not the working environment for me.

Not many. They seemed to want to hire me without many questions.
It largely depends on the unit that you want to work for however it is a simple process that consists of a phone interview followed by an in person one. You then have the chance to shadow on th unit for a few hours and then you are formally offered the job
