I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Braze (New York, NY) in July 2021
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me about Braze. After a quick call, they scheduled a tech screen. The tech screen consisted of 3 algorithm questions, each building on top of the one before and the interviewer jumped right into it after a brief intro. The questions weren't really difficult but I didn't understand the last one and so, I wasn't able to complete it on time. I was given a couple of minutes at the very end for questions about the company. Heard back from the recruiter a day later that they have passed on me.

Question 1
Algorithm questions that shouldn't be hard if you have been practicing on leetcode. I, personally, do not like algorithm coding questions for a front end role but hey, some do and some don't.
I applied in Linkedin and talked to a recruiter. The first round is Hackerrank codepair. I did not think they applied the same questions for everyone to test their knowledge but it happened to me. They looked for rock-star leetcoders even for UI position. Expecting you to solve 3 questions in 45 min is insane.
