I applied online. I interviewed at Brehm Communications
Interview
The process was very informal. The publisher of the newspaper wasn't there, only the marketing director. It took weeks to get in for an interview because of the unresponsive publisher.

Question 1
They asked a lot about background and what I was interested in covering.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Brehm Communications (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Strong start - phone, email and in-person interview process. Overview of company and products provided. Ambitious goals for this position, although early indications of a strong working relationship, positive communication. Within two weeks of starting job, communication began to wane. Emails began to go unanswered. The interview process was an excellent first impression that did not ultimately carry out to the day-to-day culture of this company's corporate staff. Made it hard for me to contribute my skills with little to no direction or interaction from those who hired me.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brehm Communications (Auburn, CA)
Interview
Met with sales manager, easy interview, seemed pretty desperate for anyone with any newspaper sales background. I was pretty much hired on the spot. I accepted because I needed the work, but knew that they weren't being very selective, they didn't pay well and I wouldn't stay long.
