I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BridgeClimb (Sydney) in Mar 2022
Interview
5 rounds of interviews. 3 rounds are games and 2 one to one rounds. They were a good way of knowing the personality of the person. They check if you can speak well as well as attention to detail.

Question 1
What would you do if you had to resolve a situation up on the Sydney harbor Bridge where a climber gets super scared?

Interview
Very lengthy process, start you off by stating your name and a fun fact. Then you do a tour and then there is some team building exercises. We had to make the tallest tower out of newspaper and tape. Then we had to do an on the spot presentation for one minute about any topic of choice. This is all in front of a group of about 30. Then they go into one on one interviews

Question 1
Q: You are climbing the bridge and there is a thunderstorm coming in so you have to evacuate everyone, there is a girl afraid of heights on the climb who starts freaking out and another person is angry because they haven't had picture time yet. How do you deal with this situation?

Interview
Interview process was over 5 hours! Unbelievable.
Told it would be 9am-1pm (approx finish time). Ended up leaving around 2:30pm. Morning tea and a small lunch platter provided, but does not compensate for 5 hours of your time.
It was a group interview. About 30 people. A few activities/games took place (general ice breaker games). Everyone also had to do an "off the cuff" 1 minute presentation to the group. Afterwards, TWO seperate one on one interviews took place with 2 different people (first about 5 mins, second about 15 mins).
Before today I was still on the fence about the job. Now I know I don't want it. Felt like an insane waste of time. However I suppose if this is what you really want to do, perhaps this wouldn't bother you as much.
But at the end of the day, 5.5 hours is insanity.
(Interview just took place today - offers will be sent out in a few days, but it's a no from me)
