      Bridgestone Leadership Development Interview

      31 Mar 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bridgestone Americas in Mar 2015

      Interview

I discovered the internship through a university conducted career fair. Began the application process and was getting approval from my adviser to use him as a reference when I received an email saying I had been rejected. Since I hadn't submitted the application, I emailed HR and they reopened the application for me (someone had mistakenly shut me out). Took a personality test, uploaded my resume and got an email the next day requesting an digital interview. Did the interview on my own time and about a week later got a phone call from the district manager to either set up an in person interview or have a phone interview then and there. Opted for the phone interview and received an email the next day offering me the internship. I personally don't believe my interviews were done to the best of my ability so I feel they intended on hiring me in the first place.
