The feedback from my interview probably shouldn't have been passed on to me by the recruiter. Never in my lifetime have I experienced a true "belly laugh" from reading what was the most harsh criticism of my fundamental thought processes and cognitive abilities. Nonetheless, my self esteem is intact. I never claimed to be perfect but the "Somewhere a village is missing its idiot" style of criticism I received was....I'm at a loss....truly amazing. The interviewer's feedback went beyond "radical transparency" and crossed the line alllll the way into "I'm going to shut the door hard just so you don't think you can wiggle into this place." How on earth have I been successful in several highly successful, profitable, and demanding corporate environments if I am so utterly incompetent? Oh well. Life will go on and I am a big believer that living well is truly the best revenge.
