I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BrightPlan (Long Beach, CA) in Aug 2022
Interview
The interview was a series of interviews. The last interview required me to put together a presentation and present relative material to the C-suite. In the interview, I had to show my ability to organize ideas and communicate it. The process took awhile, but they stayed in contact and communicated it will.

Question 1
In your last position, where is one task you may feel you failed and why?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BrightPlan in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview was disorganized and nothing went according to their plan. The head staff was quite disappointed but said they wouldn't take action against mistakes occurring. It seems they're still learning the ropes of discipline to become effective leaders.
From what I can come up with from the sense of the culture perhaps they had an engineer who wasn't good enough to handle the challenges. Although it was a loss for them, I did feel a sense of indignation stemming from it. As if the past engineer was not happy with management but the management had thought they were treating the engineer fairly. Competence seemed to be an issue but the standards presented were by far fair. Although I will say how it's presented could be a pitfall. The context was good but the presentation needs to be touched up to be less condescending.
I declined to interview further but if they can resolve the issues they had to deal with, I'm sure the company will have a positive outcome.
I do want to greatly put an emphasis that the content is there but the leadership still needs some organizing and polishing. What I mean by content is that the leadership is open to hearing your opinion to help improve the company; also they are tech-savvy.

Question 1
Was asked to be ready to come up with a react/js component and have code ready to begin. The setup was never used nor was I asked to attempt it. So the previous interview was scrapped on the spot and I was given a surprise data structure JS coding challenge. Which I mostly have practiced in Python or Ruby.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BrightPlan (San Jose, CA) in July 2019
Interview
Very professional and thorough process to ensure that I was not only a good fit for BrightPlan, but that BrightPlan was a good fit for me. It was a 4-step interview process insisting of 1-on-1 and group interviews, with a final among the executive team.
