      Interview

Following my initial application, I was contacted to set up an in-depth phone interview. However, 1 day before the interview, the primary recruiter reached out to me saying I was "no longer qualified/under consideration" for the position. I emailed back explaining my confusion and shortly after received a call from the recruiter. During this phone call, they asked me 1 question and proceeded to cut me off halfway through my answer to reiterate that I was not qualified for the role. Overall, very unprofessional on all fronts. How can a company recruit for a role when they don't even know what they want? Could the recruiter not have waited until the scheduled time to discuss my qualifications in a more professional manner or is their time simply THAT valuable?

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BrightStar Care

      Interview

Had three interviews, all virtual. Each one was 30-60 minutes, positive, and they moved me on to the next step. They then told me they weren't in a rush to decide on candidates, but would be deciding soon. I followed up with them finally after several weeks to see if they needed any additional information or if they had made a decision on a candidate. All employers need to do is send a simple rejection email if they are not moving forward with someone, so it's sad when they can't have simple courtesy towards candidates. Never heard back from them.
