From the beginning, he let me know this wouldn't be a normal interview because he just wants to have a relaxed chat. Prior to that, the person who set up the interview via email was very unprofessional. She asked me to call her but when I did, no answer. Left a voice mail, no callback. I would see she was on the other line and still get sent to voice-mail. That was the first red flag. During the interview, He would often look at my resume and read it like he saw it for the first time. At some point before the interview ended, he pretended his camera stopped working and ultimately seemed to disconnect himself. Interview seemed okay from my perspective but honestly, I think when people see my name they think I'm a certain ethnicity and then see me on camera and learn otherwise to their disappointment. I reached out afterwards for feedback only to see that I was no longer under consideration. I wonder why.
