I recently had a phone screening with HR, followed by a 40-minute online interview with a senior manager and a manager. Although my resume clearly outlined my employment history, I was asked again about details that had already been provided, along with a few awkward questions. The senior manager’s approach felt more like an interrogation than a conversation, and based on her facial expressions and closed-ended questioning, I sensed some lack of interest. While the experience was uncomfortable, I remain very interested in the position because of the product I would be supporting and the opportunity to contribute my skills to its success.
