I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Broadway Rose Theatre in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process was odd as I felt like the position I applied for and the one I was interviewed for were completely different roles. The person who would have been my supervisor was listed on the website as one person, but when I came in I realized it would be another. Does their website never get updated or does their staff change that often?
I applied online. I interviewed at Broadway Rose Theatre (Portland, OR) in Feb 2024
Interview
Submitted my application through google forms with 3+ years of experience and multiple higher-prestige internships and jobs, got ghosted by them until I called when they laughed at me on phone. When I asked my 2 references it turns out neither was contacted which sucks.

Question 1
ghosted, but one question in the form was « Do you want to do Theatre professionally »
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Broadway Rose Theatre in Apr 2014
Interview
I downloaded the PDF application online and emailed the production manager with the complete application attached, and he responded promptly with an email requesting an allotted time to conduct a 15 minute interview. Since I lived outside of the area, he consented to an interview over the phone. It was conducted by two individuals who were very courteous, laid-back, and about as unintimidating as they come. A week later, I received a professional email informing me that the position had been filled by a more qualified applicant.

Question 1
Due to the technical aspects of the internship, they were largely interested in my previous backstage accomplishments. Additionally, they asked about why I wanted to work specifically for Broadway Rose, why I wanted to be involved in theatre, and what I knew about the company (therefore, I would HIGHLY recommend researching the company and the work of its artists before the interview!).
