I applied online because of the distance to my house. Called the next day to talk to the manager about my application. She was annoyed that I called but asked me in for an interview anyway. (They usually will wait to even look at applications until they are in need of an employee, high turn over rates have them doing this often)
Came in for a cashier position and she right off that bat asked if I was interested in being the assistant manager. I agreed and the rest of the interview was pretty much social. Getting to know each other.
I have conducted multiple interviews, and they are pretty simple. Cashier experience is a plus, but not many had it. Be friendly and you are hired. People who have tap cards are almost always picked right away because they hire people last minute and need someone in asap.
