I went through three rounds of interviews before receiving a rejection email. Between the second and third interviews, I was given a lengthy Coaching Administrative Assignment that required me to answer several detailed questions. I had to walk through different scenarios, explain how I would approach them, provide example email responses, and share real-life experiences of handling similar issues. I dedicated several hours to completing the assignment, which ended up being 13 pages long, and made sure to be as thorough and detailed as possible. However, during my third interview with three interviewers, no one mentioned the assignment or referred to it in any way. One interviewer even asked a question that was almost identical to one in the assignment. When I asked if they had reviewed it, they admitted they had not. It was disappointed that all the effort put into the assignment seemed to go unnoticed.
