I applied online. I interviewed at Build Asset Management (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview process is very similar to Amazon--several individual phone interviews followed by 1-2 "in-person" (in this case video call) final round interviews. Questions are also very similar to Amazon (look at their Leadership Principles). Main difference is the interview process was much more organized and friendly than my experiences with Amazon hiring, and they are very responsive and flexible if you have any questions or issues heading into the final rounds.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to take on a responsibility that was outside of the scope of your job?
* Note: always try to tie your answers back to Build's principles
it is a phone call interview after the online assessment and the HR is very friendly, overall the interview experience is good. and the hr was very patient during the interview.

Interview
Four rounds of interviews:
-HR
-Hiring manager
-Team member
-Upper Mgmt round robin
Based on the "S.T.A.R." method of question and answer. A bit awkward and stringent at first, but I got used to it. Interviews definitely require a bit of prep in advance, but they give you a cheat sheet to help.
