Interview
I recently interviewed with Bunt & Associates for a Transportation Technologist role. The first stage was an online interview via Teams with the HR manager, which went smoothly and was professional. I advanced to the second round, where I was interviewed alongside three other candidates.
In the end, the position was offered to another applicant who already had experience with the software that Bunt & Associates uses. HR reached out to let me know that, for this role, it was easier for them to go with someone already familiar with the tools rather than train a junior candidate.
Overall, the process was organized, transparent, and respectful. Even though I wasn’t selected, I appreciated the clear communication from HR and the constructive feedback. It was a positive experience that gave me good insight into the firm’s expectations and professionalism.

Interview
The initial video interview went well, close to 30 minutes long with specific yes or no questions related to experience. The next step was an exercise that was timed, where there was an unreasonable amount of deliverables being asked of you. As someone who is working full time this became impossible to do the exercise and then spend 45 minutes on a panel like interview.
