I attended the interview and was told nearly straight away that looking at my CV I wasn't right for the job. So why invite me to an interview and waste my time? I was asked about 4 question's in total. Neither of the interviewers even had a pen or paper to make any notes, which was a first for me. They then said I might be suitable for a job in the post room which sounded like a school leavers role, and would have been a £10k pay cut from the salary I was on. They obviously never had any intention of giving me the job and the whole experience was a bit bizarre. They also asked me where my current employer thought I was on the day, which again is a question I have never been asked in an interview.
