I applied online. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (Westminster, CO) in June 2019
Interview
Our non profit company helps adults with developmental disabilities to live independent and fulfilled lives by training and mentoring them to find meaningful employment. One of our apprentices along with her job coach after submitting application was scheduled for an interview in person. The hiring manager was clearly uncomfortable with the fact that the applicant is a person with disability, even though that was clearly stated in the job application. The hiring manager said there is no job openings declining not even to speak with our apprentices but acting awkwardly and declining to take the resume that she was enthusiastically handing to her. Please be aware of the simple and common decency fact: people with disabilities every single day and every single step are going above and beyond to be a part of this society, to be accepted and respected. After all effort, hard work and enthusiasm that our apprentice put to be a part of our society, a hiring manager at Burlington Coat Factory treated her disrespectfully. For a sake of common decency, ethics and morale, I would strongly advice you to stay away from this place.

It was supposed to be a phone interview. I scheduled it but before the interview happened I got an email where they rejected me and acted like they’d met me.
