The Burn and McDonald interview process includes an online first-round test, followed by an offline technical interview. Technical interview :-
- Mostly focus on Machine(Xmer, AC & DC machine, Generator, Its types with application and its difference between each other)
- switch gear basic
- all type of circuit breaker MCB, MCCB etc
- electrical pannel basic just like MCC, PDB, VFD where it used its difference
- All basic laws
- Power system ( Basic concept related to Generation, Distribution and transmission)
-what Skin effect, ferrenti effect how and when they occurs.
- focus on application of all our electrical machine.

Interview
Group test was conducted. Test was purely subjective. Gate exam preparation might help a lot. Then people selected were announced after some week. Then one to one interview was conducted. All thermal subject should be completely reviced before interview.
