The interview process was pleasant and fairly quick (we spoke once and I did an edit test). I only interviewed with the hiring manager/the person who became my editor for about 15 minutes over the phone.

I interviewed over the phone with one of the editors and it went great then she sent me over a writing test. I have another writing job but because it is freelance I am looking for full time. I took time out of my writing job to do this edit test that took forever just to get told they were going with another candidate. I think if you’re making ppl do writing tests maybe pay them or only let the final 3/4 candidates your considering do it.
