I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at C.H. Robinson in Apr 2011
Interview
I had an internal contact who set-up my initial phone screen interview (which was simple and just made sure you're not crazy). Following the initial screening, I had two additional phone interviews which were 30-45 minutes in length where I was asked basic situation-behavior-outcome questions. I had a final interview face-to-face where the project manager and HR recruiter asked me maybe 2 behavioral questions and just told me about some of the duties I would be responsible for that upcoming summer.

Phone interview, then a tour, then meeting some individuals. Finished off with a sales pitch which is described below. Did not do great so I did not get the job.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at C.H. Robinson (Eden Prairie, MN)
Interview
The process was really smooth. The recruiter and managers that I interviewed were extremely nice and accommodating. The whole process took around 3 weeks with timely communication. The interview itself felt like a conversation and was heavily based on my past experiences, academics, and role-related skills.
I applied through university. I interviewed at C.H. Robinson
Interview
The interview process was fairly standard. It was done at my campus and the recruiter was very nice. It was a series of behavioral based questions, but still flowed like a conversation.
