I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at C.H. Robinson (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2019
Interview
First, 20/30 phone interview with resume and behavioral questions
Second, in-person interview
- hour long resume and behavioral questions. easy conversation, but HAVE LOTS of questions
- sales skit. given a scenario and 20 minutes to prepare for a sales meeting. not as scary as it sounds, but two tips 1) soft close at the beginning and 2) use some SPIN sales tactics
Quick and easy but lack of communication with poor follow up lead to me finding another opportunity. I have heard positive feedback from others who ended up accepting positions there, maybe mine was an off situation.
2 step interview. Got the opportunity to shadow. Good atmosphere, comfortable, nice office, people were nice. Nice rooftop for lunch and job that can be remote. Seemed like the best logistics company to work for

Interview
Overall, this was a pretty neutral experience. It all came down to experience in the industry, which I had minimal, but extensive sales experience. I had multiple interviews and enjoyed all conversations except the VP from corporate. He was disengaged and did not seem excited about the company, which turned me off. Not a difficult process, but I would not recommend interviewing unless you have experience.
