I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CARVANA (Scottsdale, AZ) in Feb 2016
Interview
The interview process was two parts. First, I attended an open house. These are held every few Thursdays from 6p-8p. This gives the managers and HR group a chance to meet you, show you around, and see how well you'll fit in with the team they're building. I was there for about an hour. Met and talked with about 5 people. Second part was an invite back for a more formal interview. When you arrive they just pull a manager or two into the room with you to interview you. I met with two managers who went through a lot of typically questions. Then after 30 minutes a left and got a call back that night offering me the position. They are hiring every 2 weeks, a group of 2-6, so they're growing pretty quickly!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you looking for a new job? Why Carvana? Tell us about your experience and why you feel qualified for this position. What makes you nervous about this job? What do you know about the position? Do you know what you'll be doing day in and day out?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CARVANA (Tempe, AZ) in Oct 2024
Interview
Contacted via text on the interview process, and information was not clear on the interview process. Was not sure whom I was texting, and when I asked for a name, the individual did not provide a name so assumed I was texting chatbots. Texts claimed I would be interviewing in person with 2 hiring managers, however, after the interview ended with the 2 hiring managers ended up interviewing a separate time with higher-ups with a total of 4 people and for a total of an hour for the combined two interviews. Maybe this process didn't apply to everyone, but I did not appreciate the under-communication.

Walk me through your work experience
I applied online. I interviewed at CARVANA (Macon, GA)
Interview
Straight forward, use STAR to answer any questions and be yourself. They basically ask about previous customer service experience and how you handle different situations. This position is on the road driving a truck so make sure you are comfortable with that.

Question 1
How have you handled a difficult customer experience?
Quick and Easy! The process took 2 weeks which was great! Interviewing should not take more then that as some companies will go as long as 2 months. Very happy with the process.
