I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CARVANA (Houston, TX) in June 2016
Interview
First was a 30 minute relaxed phone interview with the recruiter. The purpose was more for me to get to know the role and the company to make sure I wanted/could do the job. The recruiter was kind and funny and felt like an old friend. The 2nd interview was in person with the manager of my area and was also positive. This was more focused on my experience and how I would handle tough customer situations. The 3rd interview I was flown to meet with 2 managers and a director executive. This was very laid back and fun. It consisted mostly of them telling funny stories/analogies about the position and their experiences/likes. I was also asked a few questions about myself, but it seemed to be more of an assessment of my personality. Overall it was really fun, so I'm pretty bummed that I didn't get an offer!

Question 1
How did you resolve a tough customer situation and turn it around? What animal would you be and why? What's the biggest misconception about you and why?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CARVANA (Tempe, AZ) in Oct 2024
Interview
Contacted via text on the interview process, and information was not clear on the interview process. Was not sure whom I was texting, and when I asked for a name, the individual did not provide a name so assumed I was texting chatbots. Texts claimed I would be interviewing in person with 2 hiring managers, however, after the interview ended with the 2 hiring managers ended up interviewing a separate time with higher-ups with a total of 4 people and for a total of an hour for the combined two interviews. Maybe this process didn't apply to everyone, but I did not appreciate the under-communication.

Interview
Straight forward, use STAR to answer any questions and be yourself. They basically ask about previous customer service experience and how you handle different situations. This position is on the road driving a truck so make sure you are comfortable with that.

Question 1
How have you handled a difficult customer experience?
Quick and Easy! The process took 2 weeks which was great! Interviewing should not take more then that as some companies will go as long as 2 months. Very happy with the process.
