Thank you for your detailed review of our interview process. I am sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with one of our interviewers. I agree that an interviewer who wasn't engaged did not reflect our values of respect for every current and prospective employee of the Lab. I will make sure that we address this issue and ensure that all our staff are engaged, focused, and provide deserved attention to our interviewees.
I appreciate your feedback on the length of the process. We utilize our department HR staff who deal with other priorities as well. However, we have worked with our HR staff to ensure we have an efficient process and reduce the time between application and final decision. Our goal is to do significantly better than 1-2 month turn-around time, but I am sure that varies with each position and number of candidates.
