I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CBRE (Calgary, AB)
Interview
I sent in my job application and followed up with a phone call. Was contacted within a couple weeks and they asked me to come in for an interview. The first interview went well; they didn't ask too many difficult questions. It seemed more to find out whether I would fit into the organization or not. Had a brief second "interview" where they offered me the job!
The conversation was smooth and comfortable. The interviewer clearly explained the role and benefits, asked straightforward questions, and created a welcoming environment that made the interaction easy and professional throughout the interview process.
The interview touched a lot on real estate law, key terms, and specific industry knowledge. Very doable for people with an RE background but I imagine it would be difficult for those who do not have that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CBRE (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was good. You start with the HR interview (online), then the department's head (online). Might take a while to hear back from them, especially if you have a lot of competition. But if they like you, you'll be directed to the country manager (f2f, for me). Be yourself and be honest.
