I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CBRE (London, England) in June 2014
Interview
2 stage interview, with people who I ended up in the team with. They intereview based on a cross over of technical knowledge and experience, as well as personality. Cultural fit is important too, and it helped develop rapport with future team mates (who are genuinely great people and who I get on with very well personally and professionally!). It's challenging, but makes sure you will work well in the team.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at CBRE (London, England)
Interview
informal conversation in the communal cafe based on interests, aptitude for specific role, questions on studies and dissertation, plans to study for APC, previous work experience including experience at CBRE, research carried out on the company and sector I was applying to
Straight forward loads of questions. Nothing too difficult. Be prepared though because if you’re not it looks bad. Also ask questions yourself during the interview they really like that, show an interest in the company and ask about different teams to show interest.
