I applied online. I interviewed at CFD Research Corp. (Hollywood, AL) in Feb 2026
Interview
Pretty standard process in many ways, at least for entry level: HR screen (15 mins), initial technical interview (45 mins, 2 people), and final interview/tour (~4 hours total, 3 different panels of a couple engineers).
Overall it went quickly and although the final interview is rather extensive, it went quickly because everyone there is interested in what they do and have a lot to share. Very conversational which is awesome; no “gotcha” test questions typical for larger companies.

Question 1
More detail about specific resume points. I’d recommend knowing everything on your resume, even things that may not be very applicable to the role you’re interviewing for. Nothing hard though and luckily I knew everything in great detail after preparing a bunch.

Interview
Initial HR call screen was pretty awful. Recruiter was clearly having a bad day. She was rushing the entire time, unhospitable, and unprepared to answer questions regarding the role and company.
