I was contacted and interviewed by the internal recruiter within 2 days of applying for the role on LinkedIn. The recruiter then set up time for me to meet the hiring manager who was a Sr. level Executive just 3 days later. I was excited about the opportunity and did extensive research and preparation for the interview. To my dismay, 25 min before the interview, the recruiter called to tell me the position was put on hold. 10 days later, I received an automated email saying that the role was filled and my candidacy was closed out. So did the role get put on hold or did it get filled? I reached out the to the recruiter for clarification and got no response. I later saw the position reposted on LinkedIn. I was so disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism and disregard for my experience. Even at the highest level of hiring, there is no transparency or respect given to candidates.
