      Process Engineering Co-Op Interview

      4 Mar 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Lake Charles, LA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CITGO (Lake Charles, LA) in Oct 2022

      Interview

A fair opportunity to show character, intelligence, and potential was given by multiple fantastic people, primarily by the process engineers, over several days in many different situations. The first interview was held at a nearby university and was comprised of basic personality and behavioral questions. Dinner-views, plant tours, panel interviews, conceptual questions, and teamwork events were all a part of the final interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What was a time that you had to tell someone they were wrong even though they thought they were absolutely right? How did you tell them? How did they react? How did you leave the situation?
