Phone screen with HR, video interview with hiring manager, video interview with VP and lastly video interview with CFO.
The first 3 interviews were relatively standard with both technical and behavioral questions. Interviews also covered what the role and the team looked like. The team was nice and engaged and HR did an excellent job of following up after each round.
Then came the interview with the CFO. He seemed disinterested to be in the interview. But 2 questions were very off-putting. Early in the interview he asked me to tell him about my family, which I was not comfortable doing but did so because I was concerned about getting off on the wrong foot. Later in the interview, he asked me if I believed in global warming and if not I shouldn't work at their company. He also made negative comments about the current administration. Everyone has their opinions, but bringing these comments forward in an interview is highly unprofessional. I knew during this interview that this wasn't the place for me.
