I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CLO Virutal Fashion in May 2026
Interview
Interview process was quick and HR was responsive.
However, the seniority gap was noticeable for a Senior candidate, as the first round was conducted by a peer (junior scope) rather than a decision maker, despite being arranged as a VP of BD interview.
Appreciate that the interviewer was polite and professional, willing to share the job scope in detail. However, her technical business development knowledge appeared limited, and she was unable to answer certain questions or provide deeper industry insights. It appears they may be looking for a different type of Business Developer.
The overall dynamic may inadvertently come across as a market intelligence sharing session with a junior interviewer.
Senior candidates should clarify the interview panel and scope beforehand.
A small note for the company: although it is a fashion firm, dressing more formally (e.g., avoiding sneakers) is advisable when meeting Senior-level candidates, as it reflects professionalism.

Question 1
Why do you want to change job?
How much do you know about CLO?
Anything you want to know?
I’ve undergone a thorough selection process, including four rounds of interviews that focused heavily on my technical foundation and CLO 3D proficiency. These rounds tested not just my ability to design digitally, but also how I apply design thinking, material knowledge, and garment construction principles to solve real-world problems.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CLO Virutal Fashion (Hong Kong) in May 2024
Interview
2 rounds of interview: face to face with the lead and last round with the manager online since the company is based in Korea. Mainly asked about why you want to work in CLO.
