I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CME Group
Interview
cold applied online->auto OA(two LC easy, very free)->hr call(not standard i think, i was moved into a more competitive pipeline running a yearlong program after the summer)->1hr first round tech (lc standard)->final round 15 min behavorial + 1hr sys desgin->offer!
interview breakdowns:
both on glider like the OA, glider sucks so prepare for inevitable technical difficulties (one of my interviewers kept getting logged out at random)
round 1:
LC easy (finished in 5 min)-array basics; choose java or python btw
round 2:
15 min behavorial: with HR, v standard, why CME?, why this position? what wud u do in X scenario?
1hr sys design: so this one was a little weird ngl, problem brief itself was very standard: design uber
but they operated in a very non-standard way in which on top of the schema sketch they wanted significant depth on the APIs included as well as identifying every field, primary key, and for each field: the type (ie. VARCHAR (<255) for every. single. field. in. every. single. sql. table. so be prepared for that. they also asked me to draw out the UI lol? using the glider platform (think of using MS Paint shapes to draw smth but more scuffed); the interviewer was really kind and very accommodating with glider difficulties and will also nudge you in the right direction if you are hesitant in your implementation
scheduled hr feedback call on resume as well and these r notes:
all cme resumes are apparently reviewed by humans! (they don't rely on ats :0), skills section right after education, demonstrate depth in one field but include non-domain extracurriculars of your non-academic passions to make you memorable, MUST include dates for projects
even tho glider sucks, all the humans i interacted with were great so overall, positive exp, HR also accommodated rescheduling very well
I applied online. I interviewed at CME Group (London, England)
Interview
Took place on a single assessment day. First had a group exercise where we were put into pairs then asked to read some code (printed on sheet of paper) and determine what it did. Then we had a 2 on 1 interview when they used the CV to ask technical questions and about experience

Question 1
What is the difference between an object and a class?
I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CME Group in Sept 2017
Interview
Conducted interviews face to face. First part was behavioral second part was technical. For behavioral they asked pretty straight forward questions. For technical they asked two java questions and wanted me to explain it on the whiteboard. Recruiters were focused more on the approach rather than the solution.
