I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CNBC (Doha) in Oct 2019
Interview
Rushed interview. No genuine interest. Not great interviewing and no opportunity to showcase skills as it turned into a phone interview instead of video. Cold and no rapport. The questions were limiting.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CNBC
Interview
The interview process was average difficulty wise. There were four interviews:
First - Call with HR
Second- Phone interview with Hiring Manager
Third- Assessment test
Fourth- Face to face with three people including the hiring manager
Lots of pitching. Make sure to prepare a ton of pitches and read the news.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CNBC (London, England) in May 2016
Interview
Casual chat with the interviewers and a 1h 10min long news test. Interview questions were mostly on the latest trends in the financial markets, how I would pick stories for the programmes, how I would cover major events and why I picked CNBC in the first place. News test was slightly harder and requires the candidate to know names of business moguls and exchange rates.
