      Marketing Assistant Interview

      28 Jan 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Portland, OR
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at COR Management (Portland, OR) in Jan 2020

      Interview

Incredibly impersonal and unprofessional. Interviews were done two at a time and lasted only 20 minutes, and it was emphasized three separate times in the interview that they were "very busy" and "had a lot of applicants" so they had to keep things short and do multiple at a time. It made me feel as if they cared little about potential hires; not the best foreshadow to their level of care about actual new hires. Additionally, lofty promises were made about future salaries that could potentially be earned, but it was an embarrassingly low starting pay with no guarantee into one of these high-salaried management roles. Interviewer said and I quote "you can't afford a Tesla yet with us" as if a Tesla was what I was concerned about and not how I was going to pay my bills with the pay they were offering. Overall, it was a waste of time.

      Marketing Assistant Interview

      24 June 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Beaverton, OR
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at COR Management (Beaverton, OR) in May 2019

      Interview

The interview process is very quick and easy. They value time and efficacy. There are 3 rounds of interviews. Round 1 was at the office with Bobbi she's the office manager. She did an amazing job calming me down and getting me to open up because she could tell I was nervous about the interview. The first interview lasted about 15 minutes and it left me waiting by the phone in excitement for the phone call for the second round interview. Second round interviews actually take place at the events with who would be training you. So it was really cool to be able to see what my position would look like before I even accepted. Many companies don't do that. Then lastly the 3rd round interview was over the phone with Nathan and that was a very quick interview as well. The communication between the ranks is amazing so he just wanted to get to know me a little bit and he ended up offering me the position. I am excited to be apart of this amazing team.
