I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CV Bay (London, England) in June 2023
Interview
Was very diverse, great experience and definitely enjoyed it. Variety of questions from basics to motivation and technicals. Good company, very helpful and great process. Would recommend for future candidates looking for similar roles in this sector and beyond.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CV Bay (Birmingham, England) in Dec 2018
Interview
Worst Interview experience I have ever had. They proud themselves to be an established recruitment company however they were completely unprofessional and I am going to detail why.
They called me to talk to me about a vacancy they had. From what I remember I didn't actively applied to their vacancy but they found my Cover letter for the position they were trying to fill because on the job engines I used I ticked a box that let other companies find my CV/ Cover Letter and contact me about their vacancies should they be interested .So I talked over the phone with a really nice lady that invite me for a formal interview with her company partner. They interview me for an hour and a half and they invite me for a second interview with as I understood from them their other parter( not sure now because he seemed like the only one who's opinion mattered more than the rest of them, so maybe he was the CEO although they didn't stated that). Short story long after a second 1 hour and a half interview with the aforementioned and one of their employees soon to be partner, he calls me to let me know I was unsuccessful. Wasn't really expecting anything else because from my last interview their dynamic were awfully odd and unprofessional. I had the impression the first interview went really well and they were pleased with my qualifications. What I sensed from the second interview was that this last guy I spoke to insisted on recruiting some one that had previous proved experience in recruiting. My problem is not that they didn't offered me a position but the fact that the were in the possession of my Cover Letter and CV for at least a week. They knew from the start that I don't have that experience yet instead of calling me and canceling the second interview based on that they went on wasting my time and theirs because of basically an internal misunderstanding between them. I did ask for a feedback for the interview to which they replied that really the interviews went on really good and that there is nothing wrong with my interview or any advice they could give me for the next ones and that the problem was that I lacked the experience in the industry. Again they knew that from the start(because of being in the possession of my CV AND CL) and yet they wasted 3 hours on interviewing me only to waste my time, theirs and probably to have a talk afterwards between them about what they are ACTUALLY looking for in a candidate. When I confronted them they did apologise and said they are not going to make that mistake again, suppose that was the least they could do, however for a company working in recruitment older with more than 10 years experience I found it absolutely pathetic.
