Seems like they farm candidates for free work. I was asked to do a project which could constitute as work product, then I was rejected. Seems sus. 2/10 for professionalism. They didn’t seem to have much foresight either imo
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Make me a ___________ (insert random project or procedure)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cabana (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2022
Interview
The interview process was too long and demanding. There were 5 steps in total.
1. Phone Screen
2. Hiring Manager Interview
3. Skills Assessment
4. Presentation / Roundtable Interview
5. Founder Interview
The time between them was fairly quick, which was a relief, but after the Founder Interview, I was ghosted for two/three weeks before finally getting a generic rejection email.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your experience with hiring?
What is your experience with global marketing?
How have you improved processes in the past for your teams?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cabana in May 2022
Interview
Applied, had an initial interview with one person, then had to do a project and interview with a panel. After that I received an offer.
This was overall a really negative interview experience. I felt like I didn't receive the proper information during the process which left me with a lot of questions after I received the offer. The people I spoke with didn't seem knowledgeable about the company to answer my questions and instead made me feel bad about asking these questions. This came across as unprofessional and in the end I am glad I did not end up working here.
