Phone screen with recruiter, then zoom interview with hiring manager. The role requires significant travel, this was not disclosed in the job description nor during the phone screen. Toward the end of the Zoom interview I directly asked the manager about the travel requirements which I then discovered were significant. CRC never sent me any sort of follow-up or TNT letter after the interview so I moved on. 7 months later a CRC recruiter reached out to me about the same role which seems to be open again. This was a messy process and they clearly aren't tracking their candidates.
I interviewed at California Retina Consultants (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
They contacted me in a month, after submitting my initial application and then called me in for a phone interview and then toured around the place. After that, I met the research team
I applied in-person. I interviewed at California Retina Consultants (Paso Robles, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Travel required to Santa Barbara, Lompoc from SLO area office in Paso Robles. Some Saturday work days also. The impression I have of this practice is unfortunately not good. Lowball salary for experienced applicants. Yet, job posts & staff speak as if they would desperately train ANYONE with opposable thumbs willing to learn this field to do any of the job requirements. Train a chimp! There must be a legitimate reason for turn & burn staffing.
