I was interviewed by a panel of two people; one of whom would have been a co-worker had I gotten the job. They asked me a series of about five questions. I've never experienced such robotic, poker-faced interviewers. They barely acknowledged my answers and didn't even crack a smile even when I tried to make a joke. They went through my portfolio (which I know is good) and didn't say a word. It was the weirdest, most lifeless interview I've ever had. I'm glad they did not hire me as I don't think it would have been a very fun job -- the only thing good would have been the pay as we all know government jobs pay shamefully higher than private sector.
