I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capgemini Engineering (Milan) in Jan 2015
Interview
They called me to invite me for an interview, during my thesis time. I guess they got my CV on my university website, but they didn't mention it. I did a phone interview with the HR and then a single face to face interview with the manager. The manager who was supposed to make the interview to me wasn't there. So I did the interview with another one, who focused almost only on what I wanted to do, instead on what I did and what I can do. They told me they would reply to me in a week at most. No answer whatsoever.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capgemini Engineering in Mar 2021
Interview
I had three interviews with the company and two interviews with the client. It took more than one month. The interviews with the client were more technical but the interviews with Capgemini were more about my last experiences.

3 Stage Technical Interviews in 1 day.
First two interviews involved technical questions, conducted by Project Lead, followed by Business Manager. Third and final interview involved Salary negotiations.
There was a little room for salary negotiation.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capgemini Engineering
Interview
Numerous phone interviews. This was actually quite a good process as you got to speak to many of the managers that you will end up with at some stage.
1 on 1 was a little harder but still far from the hardest or most uncomfortable one that I have ever had.
