I recently had the opportunity to interview for a position at Capgemini Invent and was interviewed by two individuals. From the outset, the atmosphere was unexpectedly tense. The interviewers adopted a defensive posture that more closely resembled an examination than a professional conversation, which was quite disconcerting.
One of the interviewers seemed quite junior and appeared overwhelmed by the process, which did not contribute positively to the experience. Unfortunately, this interaction has dissuaded me from pursuing opportunities with Capgemini Invent, as the conduct during the interview was not what I would expect from an organisation of its repute.
Following the interview, the feedback I received was not only unhelpful but also did not resonate with my experience or perceptions of my own performance and interactions during the interview. It suggests a need for a more relaxed approach and a substantial improvement in how candidates are engaged and communicated with.
This experience was disappointing and has influenced my view of the company. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to enhance the interview process for future candidates.
