I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group
Interview
They love wasting your time. They were very fake and all interviewers were lying within 5 video interviews. As usual, they use surveillance and know everything about you before the interviews start. They know your other corporation interviewing statuses too, because the second interviewer gave it away verbally on camera. It felt like a multi-round interview by people who are only there for the benefits package. Most interviewers were incompetent, and several were very arrogant on video. They were pretending to be supportive and put on fake smiles, which I found unnatural. One interviewer lied about their high performance reviews and subsequent large bonus percentage on camera, yet their visible performance didn’t match. HR lied the most out of all interviewers. One interviewer was complaining about random things, interruptions took place on camera that ruined my communication, several eye rolls from interviewers, and the sales pitch was commonly heard. One interviewer had the audacity to say this is my house, look at my house while on camera. Arrogant much? Same interviewer gave me a racist verbal comment to me not long after mentioning a certain benefit. The interviewer was bragging about her money in my face. Another interviewer asked me a question which made it obvious that she didn’t read my resume. Definitely a great company with high level benefits, although the interviewers were fake and incompetence was visible. They gave me lies for a rejection email.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group (San Antonio, TX) in May 2025
Interview
The entire process took up to 4 weeks. First, I applied through WayUp, and after 2-3 days, I received an invite to a Digital Interview. After 2 weeks, I received a follow-up email to schedule a phone screening (2nd interview). The following day, they asked me to schedule 3 interviews with them in a span of 2-3 days. Two behavioral and one technical. I strongly recommend using the STAR model to answer the behavioral questions and keep it genuine. Finally, for the technical I prepared with a strong foundation in Data Structures. I had a HackerRank assessment where they asked me questions on how to raise exceptions, working with sets and hashmaps, and basic floor and remainder math syntax. Overall, it was pretty easy technically compared to other interviews I had. The behavioral interview is tough; try to share a story for every question they ask and keep the conversation flowing. Good luck!
