Interview process took too long and frankly took 3 months to get a second interview after my first call interview. I emailed back and forth all summer following up and asking when the follow up would be and after all that time of leading me on I was finally given a date. I came in excited and a little nervous but they were very great and positive and I thought the interview went smoothly. They asked me to put together a proposal and I spent well over 12 hours on a detailed proposal and sent it in. I followed up with a thank you note, a call, and an email but I was ultimately ghosted. Just seemed a little unprofessional after leading me on for so long and even giving them a proposal essentially working for free.
I would call this workplace a boys club because everyone in high positions are men and I sense a little bit of gender bias in the office.
They are extremely friendly but don’t expect any professionalism if they don’t choose to hire you.
